Required Equipment for Your Child to Play Hockey

Your child will need the following gear to participate in hockey:

Protective Gear:

  • Helmet with full cage
  • Mouth guard (U15 and up)
  • Neck guard
  • Shoulder pads
  • Elbow pads
  • Hockey pants
  • Shin pads
  • Jock (boys) / Jill (girls)

Skating & Playing Essentials:

  • Skates (Skate Fit Chart)
  • Hockey stick
  • Hockey socks (your child will receive 1 pair of game socks with registration)
  • Equipment bag

Recommended Items

While not required, these items can enhance your child's hockey experience:

 Stick tape - Helps improve grip and protect the stick blade.
 Practice jersey - Useful if the team does not provide one.
 Water bottle - Staying hydrated is key!
 Shin pad tape - Keeps shin pads secure during play.
 Skate guards - Protects skates when walking off the ice.
